Counseling, Coaching & Consulting for Women by Women

About Toni

In our therapy together, you will find yourself in a safe, non-judgmental and compassionate space. I take a conversational and respectful, yet, directive approach that is authentic and honest. If I am not a good fit with you, I do not take this personally.

The working relationship that develops between the client and therapist is a vital part of the therapeutic process and positive treatment outcome and has been considered the most important factor in successful outcomes regardless of the type of treatment provided. But, since I imagine you may want to know, my style of therapy is informed by the principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment therapy.   I use a holistic approach and include health, diet, and physical health into understanding your well-behing. The women who have had the most positive outcomes in therapy with me are high functioning and motivated to learn new skills, identify patterns of thoughts and behaviors and make meaningful changes in their lives to overcome the difficulties that brought them to treatment. I love providing support and encouragement to you while you learn new tools and techniques to reach your potential.

During my most recent clinical work in primary medical settings, I have had the most joy in working with women, like me, who found themselves in unexpected places due to circumstance; Be it death of a loved one, spouse’s infidelity, divorce, aging, empty nest, postpartum health and/or childbirth, caregiving role, or feeling overloaded with life’s demands.

In listening to my heart and acknowledging and recognizing what resonates with me, what my purpose is, I have decided to dedicate my therapy practice to women who are facing challenges navigating life’s transitions and difficulties.
