she asked pensively.

Thank you for visiting my site. My therapy practice is committed to helping women of all ages create meaningful and fulfilling lives and to be the best version of themselves, finding clarity in their values and in determining what they want out of their life. I am passionate about working with women to build resiliency, empowerment, and to assist them in building the skills to help them manage life's challenges, and to remind them that "the only way out is through".
I have lived in Asheville for the past 13 years, relocated after 31 years living in South Florida. I was originally from New York, so I guess I am called a "half-back" now and could not imagine a life away from the mountains. During free time I enjoy spending as much time outdoors- hiking, biking, kayaking, gardening as well as dancing both socially and competitively. My family is an integral part of my life and I cherish time with my young adult children, and two precious grandchildren. Home is my comfort place that is shared with my significant other, my beloved cat (she thinks she is a dog), and my 91-year old mom who fortunately continues to remain independent in her downstairs apartment and enjoys my "drop ins" to open jars, sweep the floor, and assist with all her IT issues!! I am too aware of life's unexpected obstacles and challenges that can turn life upside down at any given and unexpected moment. Having developed resiliency during some of my own turbulent times has allowed me to help many women face their own journey with new skills and strength. Let's work together to anchor in the storm and to help you find the meaningful and value-driven life you long for.
